BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - A roadside bomb killed two U.S. soldiers and injured three in central Iraq, the U.S. command said Sunday.
The patrol with Task Force Liberty was hit Saturday evening in the city of Samarra, about 60 miles north of Baghdad, the U.S. military said in a statement.
All the soldiers were transported to a coalition medical facility where two of them died from wounds sustained in the attack, the statement said.
According to
Iraq Coalition Casualties that brings the US casualty count up to 1,829.
I dont know about you but with the Bush Co.'s new agenda of troop reduction in Iraq I myself feel a bit sick to my stomach for those of our fallen fellow Americans that will have died so that Ahmed Chalabi could be pardoned by Jordan for bank fraud and become oil minister of the second largest oil producing nation in the world. Im intrested in seeing what my fellow late night kossack's feel please feel free to leave late night rants and such.
